10 Asian Americans finished voter registration and joined as members of the Republican Party at the meeting

 

On June 18, 2016, Asian.GOP (www.Asian.gop) hosted an all-day Republican Leadership Initiative Training in West Palm Beach, Florida.  The training day was focused on encouraging Asian American republicans to learn more about the political process in America, discover how to participate in campaign work with others, find out how to run for office or gain a political appointment, and learn how children can have a bright future in public service.

 

Participants became informed about how to do grassroots organizing, especially through applying data analysis,utilizing digital communications and cutting-edge campaign technology in furthering leadership skills.  These skills are essential to successful campaign volunteer networking.The workshop in the morning was later followed up with an afternoon session on voter statistics, issues facing voter, and social and economic trends affecting our communities.  Mr. Clifford Zhonggang Li, Executive Director of Asian.GOP, also called for strategic planning to Training in West Palm Beach, Florida.  The training day was focused on encouraging Asian American republicans to learn more about the political process in America, discover how to participate in campaign work with others, find out how to run for office or gain a political appointment, and learn how children can have a bright future in public service.

The highlight of the training day was special guest Ms. Sharon Day, Co-Chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC).  She reviewed the progress of the RNC in reaching out to the Asian American community and discussed the importance of the Asian American electorate in making the Republican Party successful in the upcoming elections.

At the end of a successful day of the Leadership Initiative Training, everyone celebrated the formation of the Palm Beach Chapter of Asian.GOP.
